4AD music club has been an adamant biotope in the West of Belgium, close to the seaside, for over 20 years. The artistic focus lies mainly with local, national and international bands that colour outside the designated lines. The line-up is never genre-committed: rock, noise, electronica, folk, jazz, Americana, singer-songwriter, world and everything in between is given a chance.
The atmosphere at 4AD is warm and authentic, thanks in a part to the fact that artist and crowd are so close to each other.
Aside from concerts 4AD also projects movies, organizes exhibitions, puts on theatre performances, workshops and master classes. Young guns can even make use of the rehearsal spaces.
