Alan Stivell - De Kerstbestanden
French Breton Alan Stivell is an established singer, musician and instrument-maker. Since his early career, he has stimulated a growing interest in Celtic music. For the project ‘Kerstbestanden’ - Christmas Truce - Stivell is the link to the Bretons who fought in WWI in the Westhoek. The première of his new work, specially created for this project, takes place in the church in Boezinge, where there is a plaque in memory of the Bretons.
